This Syrah comes from block 146B of Paragon Vineyard in Edna Valley, an award-winning vineyard. It is an Estrella clone, one of many Syrah clones. Year-to-year this Syrah doesn’t disappoint. A cool-climate wine, it has plum on the nose; cherry, raspberry, and other berry flavors; various spices including black pepper; all rounded with caramel-vanilla sweetness and subtle oak. Fantastic with aged white cheddar, BBQ steak or burger, pasta carbonara or chicken cordon blue.

Harvested October 22, 2021; aged 1.5 years in American oak; 70 cases produced.
