12, 13, 18, 20, 21 Library Cabernet Sauvignon (5 pack vertical)
Autry Cellars is grateful for your support as we enter our 17th year of business. As a thank you, Steve opened his library to find a unique vertical showcasing his dedication to winemaking, his partnership with Still Waters Vineyards, and the Paso Robles AVA (American Viticultural Area).
With gratitude, we share a limited edition vertical of Cabernet Sauvignon, including 2012, 2013, 2018, 2020, and 2021.
Since Autry Cellars' inception, Steve has purchased grapes from owners Paul and Patty Hoover of famed Still Waters Vineyards, part of the El Pomar sub-AVA of the Paso Robles AVA. A perfect partner to Steve's aerospace supertech background, Paul is a consummate agriculturalist with strong ties to the land, growing the best possible grapes in one of the premium wine-growing regions of California. This partnership has created a fantastic group of award-winning wines.
In addition to Cabernet Sauvignon, we purchase many of our other grapes from this unique and bountiful 75-acre vineyard, including Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Merlot, Petite Sirah, Primitivo, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, and Zinfandel (the first release is coming soon).
Each of these award-winning wines’ grapes came from the same vineyard (Still Waters), were created by the same winemaker (Steve Autry), and shared similar wine-making processes. Overall, you can expect similar characteristics and flavors, but with each vintage you’ll find small, delightful differences which are an expression of how the year’s sun and rain variances affected the fruit. This is a rare opportunity to see how nature offers the winemaker-artist a unique palette each year. These verticals will allow you not only to experience and compare earlier and later vintages, but to discover the very special nuances showcased within each individual vintage.
