2023 Group Improv

This is our best blend yet!

This is our dry, robust Rosè, an equal blend of: Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot, Petite Sirah, and Zinfandel. Twenty-four hours of skin contact gives deeper color, flavor and aroma than most Rosè. There’s cherry, strawberry, raspberry and floral honey on the nose, red berry in the middle, and a perception of sweetness even though it is a dry wine (no residual sugar left in it). The mineral quality is balanced with bright acidity and lingering strawberry finish. This is a mouthwatering universal food-pairing wine. 

We drain off 20 gallons from each red wine we make that given year, ferment each separately, and blend all together right before bottling. Each year’s Group Improv is unique.

It’s a great summer BBQ wine and pairs well with ribs, burgers, pizza, or even dessert. Serves best at fifty-five degrees.
